Woojer S3 has three distinct operation modes optimized for your audio-haptic experience: Broad Mode, Focused Mode, and the new addition, Gaming Mode. Switching between the modes is done with the Woojer Device Manager app.
Broad Mode
This one is the default, offering versatility for a wide range of audio content. It's the go-to choice for everyday audio streaming platforms like YouTube or Spotify over Bluetooth or USB. If you're using a game console with a 3.5mm audio output, such as the PS, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, Broad Mode is the recommended option. It has a frequency response range of up to 250Hz, catering to most users' needs without further configuration.
For high-level source materials like lossless audio or USB-connected video games, adjust the source output level as needed, and fine-tune your audio experience using the Woojer control panel. Here are the recommended source volume settings:
Xbox/PS/Switch via 3.5mm: Maintain source volume at 100%.
Windows/Mac Lossless Audio or Games via USB or Bluetooth: Optimal source volume may be in some cases well below 100%
Normalized Streaming Audio over USB or Bluetooth: Target source volume settings between 80%-100%.
When using Woojer with mobile devices via Bluetooth the mobile app output level will only affect headphones output level. Haptics level can only be controlled via the Woojer device itself or the Woojer Device Manager app.
Focused Mode
Focused Mode is a sub-bass mode. Ideal for louder, high-quality audio signals. It's great for lossless audio files, high-fidelity PC gaming, or movies via Bluetooth. In Focused Mode, Woojer S3 delivers a pure sub-bass experience, with a frequency response of up to 110 Hz.
Gaming Mode
Introducing Gaming Mode, the latest addition to Woojer S3's modes! Implementing a designated EQ and a low-pass filter set at 130 Hz for enhancing game events' haptic feedback, making it ideal for gaming environments. This mode ensures that low-frequency gaming effects are delivered with exceptional impact and accuracy.
Switching between modes
The Woojer Device Manager app is used for switching between different modes. Here’s how to do it:
Connect your Woojer to your phone, either with Bluetooth, 3.5mm or USB-C connection.
Open the Woojer Device Manager app.
Press the “Audio settings” button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Choose your preferred mode and fine-tune your experience by calibrating latency.
That's it! You're officially amazing now!
